thismorning

I woke up hours before I wanted to. But now that I have I'm enjoying my morning.

I think I'll go make myself breakfast.
An omelet?

Then I'll do laundry and prepare all my things here for being moved to my new place in the aves with one of my best friends, and the boy i'm sure will become my best friend if he makes me enough cupcakes :)

Then I'd really like to finish working on my class schedule for the coming school year.

But all of that comes after researching an artist. I haven't done that for quite awhile now.

Art21 time :)

Two days ago I accidentally deleted all of my pictures from my trips to London and Edinburgh this summer. I convinced myself that because of my journaling, it was alright. A picture is worth a thousand words, and I wrote hundreds of thousands of words this summer :)
But yesterday I discovered that the pictures might be recoverable. So off to costco I went, hopes high...and then it didn't work. So then of course I broke down a bit. Why'd I let myself get my hopes up? Then we brought my memory card to Inkley's to see if they could recover the pictures.
So now I have to wait ten business days to see if it worked.
I'm not hoping it will.
I'm pretending my pictures are gone for good.
Thankfully a lot of people were with me on both of my trips, so facebook tags will help me rebuild my photo collection.
Yesterday was tough. But I saw my two best friends in the whole world, worked on audition songs with them, and felt SO much better.

Letting myself need people is one of the hardest and most perfect things in my life right now. I don't like opening myself up to vulnerability. There are still areas of my life that I struggle with it.
I want to be able to let myself be completely vulnerable in all aspects. It'll be difficult and scary and probably painful and alarming.
And from there I can learn when it's good to let myself be strong, and when it's appropriate to bring my walls down.

I'm excited to keep learning this year. :)

My goal is get out of the theatre department a lot.

I need to see more of the college experience than I have.

Alright. Time to start my day.
